This Russian cake is one of the family favorites! It’s so good! Its for special days like birthdays and family get togethers.
2 eggs 2 tbs. honey
1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda 3 c. flour
Get three foiled and greased cookie sheets ready and preheat the oven to 400 deg.
Mix the eggs, sugar, baking soda, and honey in a medium-sized metal bowl. Then add butter.
Put to boil 2 to 3 cups of water. Place the bowl over the boiling water, and slowly mix .
When the ingredients have melted together, add flour 1 cup at a time slowly while mixing.
Immediately divide the dough into three, while it is still hot, and press each piece over the cookie sheets with flour.
Bake each layer for five minutes or until golden.
1 can condensed milk
1 c. butter
3 tbs. sour cream
Mix the condensed milk, butter, and sour cream with a mixer.
Cut of a little bit of the edges and lay aside. Put the cream on each layer and then sprinkle with crushed edges.
