1 onion med 1 carrot shredded
1 beet 1 pepper chopped
1 celery stick chopped 2 garlic cloves
handful fresh dill weed dollop of sour cream
1/2 can of tomato paste or 1 can of tomato sauce
1 tsp. boullion 6 chopped potatoes
cubed cooked chicken 3 c. shredded cabbage
spices(spices suggested: garlic powder, black pepper and dill weed)
bay leaf salt
Fill a large pot halfway with water and put to boil.
Add a little oil to a frying pan and saute the onions. When onions are golden brown add in all the shredded vegetables except potatoes and cabbage. Saute until cooked. Then mix in tomato sauce or paste.
Add bouillon and potatoes to boiling water. Let the potatoes boil for ten minutes or till they’re cooked. When potatoes are cooked, add chicken to water and spices to taste excluding salt. Then add shredded cabbage, fasche, and bay leaf. Add salt to taste.
