Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully with shouts of joy! ~Psalm 33:3
I am so excited about my new and first CD! God has blessed me so much in this whole process!
My original music is very different then most music out there. All songs are very melodic and are not comprised of the mundane four chord progression pattern that is so prevalent now a days. Each song has a clear and powerful Christian message meant to help the average Christian in there walk with God.
You can check out sample of the songs that I wrote in my album “Victory in Jesus” below:
“When He Carries Me” by Ina Yefimov
Sometimes I think that I’m so great,
Until I feel the sudden weight of sin pressing down on me.
I think, “How godly I’ve become.
My good works day is done”,
And find how arrogant I’ve become.
But when I think I’m strong I fall;
When I am weak Christ picks me up,
And carries me over mountains tall.
He gives me hope;
He gives me strength.
Again I think how I’m so great,
so I ask to be let down.
He listens to my request,
Though he knows it is not best.
A fat and furious river sweeps me nigh,
And to my Savior I do cry.
He catches me in his strong arms,
And wipes the tears from my eyes, and says,
“I am always here”,
And from my eyes came more tears.
“Father, now I realize on my feet,
I meet defeat,
But when you carry me,
Then there is victory!”

My church is starting up Awana for ages 1-18!
Awana is really fun with special nights, game time, counsel time, handbook time where you can earn Awana money to spend at the Awana store, for learning verses, singing, and counsel time!
Starting tomorrow, it’s going to be on Wednesday nights, 6:00 through 8:00, at Sierra Baptist Church in Newcastle, CA. For more information check out http://sierrabaptist.org/.
2 Timothy 2:15 ~ Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman who needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. ~ Joshua 1:8
Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck. When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you; and when you awake, they will speak with you. ~ Proverbs 6:21-22
Not sure what to memorize or where to start? From now on, once a week, I will be posting a memory verse for you and me to work on during the week!
Here are the verses for this week: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised his from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~ Romans 10:9-10
Oh, and when you see a verse you’ve already memorized don’t just skip that week. If your like me, you forget it unless you memorize it six times, so take the time to relearn it. If your not like me, then choose a different passage to work on that week.
I have hidden your word my heart, that I might not sin against you. ~ Psalm 119:11
This Sunday my pastor gave a sermon about sharing the Gospel that was very touching, (click http://new.livestream.com/sierrabaptistchurchservices/events/2502612to watch it) but he also gave a challenge, and I thought I’d share this challenge with you. For a whole month, ten minutes a day, pray that you would lead someone to Christ this month. This is one big challenge, but I hope you take it. If you do, let me encourage you not to just pray that you would lead someone to Christ, but that God would use you, and prepare your heart. Pray for individuals you know and have contact with. Pray that God would prepare there hearts.
Even though prayer is really important in a Christian’s life, if you just pray, and don’t do anything, I’m pretty sure your not going to lead anybody to Christ any time soon. Sometimes it takes getting out of your comfort zone and getting on out there. I want to encourage you to try to use everything you do as a way to share the Gospel or worship God and to stay in the Word.
1 Peter 3:15 ~ But sanctify the Lord in your hearts: and always be ready to give an answer to every man who asks you for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.
I want to personally inviting you to come to an amazing music camp that me and my sister go to every year in Loomis called Newsong Music Camp. This camp not only has theory classes, enrichment classes, choir, and orchestra but it also teaches each individual to improvise which is truly the key to music. Without it, there is no freedom to express yourself. It is divided into beginner level camp and a more advanced level camp.

Here is a video from a previous music camp:
Please share this with friends and family who might be interested in coming. They especially need more strings.
