The verse for this week:
What are you doing to be conformed to this world this week?
What are you doing to glorify God this week?
Behold, God is my salvation! I will trust and not be afraid.
Much easier said than done, right? It pretty easy to trust God when things are going great, but when you feel
like the earth is falling around we tend to think, “God, why are you doing this to me?”
For the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song: He also is become my salvation.
God is always there to comfort us, and to tell us to trust Him, because He got an amazing plan, even when things
seem to be falling apart.
I hope you’ll take the challenge of memorizing Isaiah 12:2 this week, and as you do remember to trust
Him, because he’s in control.
Have a great week!
From now on, I will be posting a memory verse for you and me to work on during the week.
The verse for this week is:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. ~ 2 Timothy 3:16
If this is a verse you’ve already memorize, don’t just skip this week, but take the time to relearn it or choose a different verse to work on this week.
Have a great day!
If you haven’t seen it yet, check out last week’s post: https://myfluteforgod.wordpress.com/2014/08/26/memorize-verses/
P. S. Sorry about it being late.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. ~ Joshua 1:8
Bind them continually upon your heart; Tie them around your neck. When you roam, they will lead you; When you sleep, they will keep you; And when you awake, they will speak with you; and when you awake, they will speak with you. ~ Proverbs 6:21-22
Not sure what to memorize or where to start? From now on, once a week, I will be posting a memory verse for you and me to work on during the week!
Here are the verses for this week: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised his from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~ Romans 10:9-10
Oh, and when you see a verse you’ve already memorized don’t just skip that week. If your like me, you forget it unless you memorize it six times, so take the time to relearn it. If your not like me, then choose a different passage to work on that week.
I have hidden your word my heart, that I might not sin against you. ~ Psalm 119:11
